The Storm

The Storm

James Wilton Dance are pleased to announce their new full evening work The Storm.

You can’t see the wind, but you can see how it changes objects.
You can’t see unhappiness, but you can see how it changes people.
A low becomes a depression, a depression becomes a storm.
When you’re unhappy people say “it will all blow over”.
There is a calm before the storm, is there one afterwards?

Featuring 7 dancers, a specially composed score by Amarok / Michal Wojtas and scientific input from Dr. David Belin lecturer in behavioural neuroscience at Cambridge University, The Storm will be sure to blow audiences away!

The Storm is co-commissioned by Blackpool Grand, Creative Barking and Dagenham, DanceEast, Pavilion Dance South West, Queens Hall Arts, Hexham, The Gulbenkian/Art31, The Place, Swindon Dance, Tanz Ist and Warwick Arts Centre, with support from Arts Council England Grants for The Arts.
